Is raga mein Teevra Madhyam ka pramukh roop se prayog hota hai, aur Shuddha Madhyam ka prayog aam taur par Rishabh ke saath kiya jata hai, jaise: Re Ma Ga. Aaroh mein aksar Pancham varjit rehta hai, jaise: Ma̍ Dha Pa Ma̍ Ga Re Sa.
English - In this raga, Teevra Madhyam is used predominantly, and Shuddha Madhyam is generally used along with Rishabh, as in: Re Ma Ga. In the ascent (aaroh), Pancham is often omitted, as in: M̍a Dha Pa M̍a Ga Re Sa.
